Senior Role Career Opportunity - Manager (Scotstoun, Glasgow)

Mearns After School Care (Established 1995) have an exciting opportunity for a senior staff member in our Scotstoun project.

Successful candidate will work as an integral part of the senior team promoting quality in a people centred environment where playful learning is valued and nurtured. Professional leadership qualities are required to respond to holistic needs of all stakeholders. CPD and reflective practice is an important part of the role and you will be expected to attend training, quality improvement groups and senior meetings to facilitate this.

Successful applicants will be required to meet criteria for registration with Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme, Scottish Social Services Council and will be reference checked.

• Requirements - Minimum level 4 childcare qualification or higher and 3 years childcare and supervisory of staff or management experience necessary. If applicants do not hold the BA Childhood Practice or Level 9 equivalent you must be willing to work towards this.
• Current Salary - £11,067.00 per annum based on working 21.25 hours per week (term time only) including admin hours plus additional Performance Related Bonus of up to £5000. Training sessions, meetings and other overtime paid at £12.00 per hour.
• Hours of Work - 2.45pm-6pm term time, with additional weekly office hours necessary.
• Holiday Allowance - 26 days holiday per annum (including 9 public holidays)
