'A Register for the Future' SOSCN/SSSC consultation event on changes to the register and qualifications

Thursday 3rd March 2022 10:30am to 11:30am - Free online event on Zoom

Book a place: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/a-register-for-the-future-soscnsssc-consultation-event-tickets-269500913487

The SSSC is currently conducting a consultation ‘A register for the Future’ which is proposing changes to the Register, SSSC processes and qualifications accepted for registration. It is vital that the OSC workforce responds to this consultation so we are pleased to be able to offer this opportunity to learn more about it directly from the SSSC.

Who is this event for?

Anyone with an interest, for example, people registered with the SSSC, employers, service owners and providers, HR and learning and development staff and people using the services.

What’s the event about?

The SSSC is proposing changes to improve and streamline the way people working in social work, social care and early years services in Scotland apply to register.

The SSSC is proposing changes to the Register, to their processes and to the qualifications they accept for registration.

The SSSC wants being registered with them to be simple and easy to understand. And to make sure that people know about the benefits and value of being registered and the standards, skills and qualifications needed to deliver high quality care.

This online event with the SSSC gives you the opportunity to meet the team and hear all about the proposals, ask questions and give your feedback. You can find out more about the proposals on their website here https://www.sssc.uk.com/consultations

The SSSC wants to hear your views and as well as joining the event we encourage you to respond to the consultation at the link above by the closing date on 14 March 2022.
