Free Online Session: Access to Childcare Fund- the learning so far

Wednesday 12th October, 10am-11:30am via zoom

Book a place: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/free-online-session-access-to-childcare-fund-the-learning-so-far-tickets-414565656037

In 2020 the Scottish Government created a new Access to Childcare Fund, worth up to £3 million across 2020-22 to test new models of School Age Childcare that would be accessible and affordable for families on low incomes. The fund is managed by Children in Scotland (CIS) and supported by an expert Steering Group. The projects were directly supported by a lead with extensive experience in ELC and school-aged childcare development and improvement methodology. Children in Scotland will shortly be publishing the final 2020-22 report. To find out more ahead of the event, you can read more about the fund here: https://childreninscotland.org.uk/acf-fund/

This session, held in partnership with Scottish Government, Children in Scotland and a selection of the funded projects, will share how the fund was delivered, the impact on children and families, and how the learning will help support the development of the Scottish Government's commitment to deliver funded School Age Childcare for families from low incomes.
