Sessional Workers

North Edinburgh Childcare is one of the premier providers of high quality, affordable childcare and education services in Edinburgh and is known for its community based approach to delivering accredited childcare training. The organisation is strongly grounded in an inclusive ethos which underpins both our excellent services and our commitment to staff, their training and professional development.

£4.48 - £8.46 (inclusive of holiday pay) Dependent on age and experience.

Sessional Workers are required to assist in the efficient and effective delivery of the organisation’s childcare services. Settings include two full day care nurseries and seven out of school clubs in North Edinburgh and Balerno. Specific hours are not guaranteed and vary from short sessions to full time dependent on the needs of the organisation.

N.B. Applicants for childcare posts must be eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council and the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
