Bright Start Borders are a not-for-profit, Community Interest Company based in St Boswells, committed to providing accessible, fun, safe and nurturing Breakfast and Out of School Clubs.

We are seeking to recruit 3 bright, enthusiastic and experienced individuals into the roles listed below.

Manager

Hours: 36 hours a week (negotiable). Currently term time only with a view to developing holiday activity.

Salary: £16,848- £19,656 pro rata dependent on qualifications and experience.

Ideally applicants will have a Level 3 qualification, equivalent or above in Childhood Practice and be willing to undertake top up units in line with SSSC as required. Applicants must have experience of working with 4 -11 year olds in a play or childcare environment, managing or leading a team and an understanding of the effective implementation of National Care Standards.

Experience of working in a supervisory capacity is also desirable.

Playworkers (x 2)

Hours: 18 hours a week (negotiable). Currently term time only with a view to developing holiday activity.

Salary: £14,976- £15,912 pro rata.

Ideally applicants will have a relevant Level 2 qualification, equivalent or above in Childhood Practice and have some experience of working with 4 -11 year olds in a play environment.

Hours can be flexible and we are fully committed to supporting employees into developing their qualifications to meet with SSSC requirements.

Successful applicants will join us in coordinating and delivering high-quality, safe and stimulating activity.
