'What it takes: supporting children with disabilities and complex needs in school age childcare services

From our recent surveys we know that many services would like to be better skilled, resourced and equipped to support children with disabilities and complex needs. In this online session we aim to provide delegates with practical information, advice and ideas on this topic.

We shall hear from a number of specialist childcare services supporting children with disabilities and complex needs who will share their experiences and expert knowledge. The Scottish Commission for People with Learning Difficulties (SCLD) will also present results from their recent research report, 'Building Blocks: Exploring the barriers and facilitators to Early Learning and childcare for children with learning disabilities in Scotland.'

There will be opportunities to ask participants questions as well as participate in a wider discussion/sharing opportunity.
