Notre Dame Primary After School Club is a busy and vibrant after school club providing flexible and affordable after school care to the children of Notre Dame Primary School between 3-6pm Monday to Friday during term time.

We are located at 1st Glasgow Scout Hall, 4 Victoria Circus, G12 9LD, a short walk away from the school.

We are currently looking for a PLAY WORKER to join our small and dedicated team.

The successful candidate will be required:

To provide high quality care for the children at the Afty in line with Care Inspectorate regulations and guidelines.

To support the manager in the day to day running of the Afty.

To plan, organise and supervise a range of play opportunities for the children attending the Afty.

Have a real passion for working with children and an understanding of the importance of working within a team.

Experience / Qualifications:

You will be required to meet the criteria for registration with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme, Scottish Social Services Council and will be reference checked.

Our Childcare Practitioners must hold a relevant childcare or play-work qualification, ideally at SVQ level 3 or equivalent.

This post will also require registration with SSSC at Practitioner level.

You must have experience of working with children, ideally 4 to 11 year olds.

Flexible monthly rota.

£8.91 per hour plus holiday pay.
