SSSC Revised Codes of Practice Consultation- have your say
SSSC Revised Codes of Practice Consultation- have your say

Following on from the conversations last autumn about revising the Codes of Practice for Social Service Workers and Employers, the SSSC are now consulting on the draft revised Codes of Practice. Following the feedback, the main changes to the Codes are:

  • updated language
  • strengthening and reflecting developments in current practice
  • rights and relationships
  • de-cluttering and streamlining

The consultation is open for responses until 5pm on Friday 7th July 2023.

You can respond online via the Codes consultation: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/LC1GGC/

There will also be a series of online and in-person Codes consultation focus groups being held throughout May and June where you can discuss the changes, and share your views and thoughts on the revised Codes.

For further information about the consultation and book places on the online and in-person events, please visit: https://news.sssc.uk.com/news/revised-codes-consultation
