1. How do I join SOSCN?

Full details about membership can be found here: https://soscn.org/membership.

To join SOSCN, please click the link to register and follow the steps on the registration form.

It is a good idea to use the email address that you use for your SAC service, this may be the email address also with the Care Inspectorate. This will be the email address that you use to log in and access our membership portal.

2. I have more than one service, can I register them all?

Yes. It is a good idea to register all your SAC services with the one SOSCN membership, all services will be registered to your primary email address that you use to register your first service. You can add additional email addresses for each service you add so that our information updates are sent to these too. To register more than one service, once you have registered your first service, there is an option to 'add service' within the main menu of the membership portal.

3. How do I get a new membership certificate?

If your membership certificate is out of date, or you need a new one, you can get a new certificate by logging into your membership portal and once you are logged in click the 'details' link within the main menu of the membership portal. The link to access your certificate is at the foot of your details. To get a printable/downloadable copy of your certificate, your details must be up to date, so if you cannot see the link to access your certificate, please update your details.

4. How do I update my membership details?

Once you are logged in, click the 'details' tab in the main menu of the membership portal. If you have more than one service registered to your primary email address, all of the services will appear here. Once you have clicked on your services name, your will see your current details. You can make any changed you need, and then click 'update your details'

5. How do I update my contact preferences?

Follow the steps above to updating your details, your contact preferences, including receiving emails, can be changed here.

6. How do I get a new password?

If you have lost your password, please see the login page here https://soscn.org/login and click the button 'need a new password'.

If you are logged in and want to change your password, click the 'security' tab in the main menu of the membership portal. Here you will find a form to 'change your password'.

7. How do I change my login email?

To change your registered email address that you use to log in, please log in with the email address that is currently registered, click the “security” tab in the main menu of the membership portal. Here you will find a form to 'change your primary email address'.

If you no longer have access to the email address that is currently registered please send an email to membership@soscn.org

8. How do I cancel my membership?

If you need to cancel your membership, please send an email to membership@soscn.org.

9. How do I pay for a membership subscription?

To access our membership benefits, you will need to pay a membership fee. For this, please see the 'subscription' tab in the main menu of the membership portal. We use stripe.com for our online payments. One you have purchased a subscription you will have full access to our membership benefits.
