Introduction to STEM activities for Out of School Care Workers
The course aims to increase your skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver STEM activities to your service users by focusing on fun indoor and outdoor activities relating to: Forensics; Colour; The Human Body; Engineering.
Location: Glasgow Clyde College, Langside campus, 50 Prospecthill Road, Glasgow G42 9LB
Start date: Friday 1 December 2017
Duration: 10 weeks from 9.45am- 12.45pm
(Please note the final 4 sessions will take place on a Monday)
Eligibility: This course is aimed at practitioner staff in out of school care services. Please note, places are limited so we can only offer a place to one member of staff per organisation. Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
Cost: You will be supplied with all the materials you will need in a course Kit Bag. The course is free however a deposit of £50 is payable towards the kit bag.
